Just over 20 years ago, Uncle Larry and Aunt Phyllis Wohlscheid purchased this property as the place they would call home. After building a new house, removing the original one, and lovingly improving the two barns on site, family and friends began asking to use the space for gatherings and weddings. About nine years ago, Don and Dawn Worthington saw even more potential here. They completed additional renovations to the barn and launched the wedding and event venue that so many have come to love. Though Uncle Larry has since passed and the Worthingtons are now moving into semi-retirement, their vision and care remain at the heart of this place.

Walking alongside our children as they built their lives and planned their weddings taught us what truly matters. We’ve seen the excitement, the pressure, and the desire to create something beautiful without losing sight of what’s important: being surrounded by the people you love. Those experiences inspired us to help other families enjoy this season with more peace, more joy, and far less stress.

Dreamfield Acres was born from that heart.
